The English Calligraphy Competition of the 9th English Culture and Arts Festival was held as scheduled from November 15th to 22nd. As one of the series of activities of the annual English Culture and Arts Festival, this event has a high level of participation, and this year it has attracted multiple international students to participate in the competition.
This English calligraphy competition is divided into two stages: preliminary and final. After intense competition within the class and among clubs, more than 250 calligraphy works have been selected for the final competition. After four rounds of careful selection by the judges and teachers, a total of 10 outstanding award works, 10 excellent award works, and 20 creative award works were selected. The entries have dignified and beautiful handwriting, novel binding design, diverse styles, and full of creativity. Excellent award-winning works will be made into exhibition boards and exhibited on campus during the art festival series. All teachers and students are welcome to come and observe.
As one of the most popular events in the Art Festival, the calligraphy competition enriches students' campus life, stimulates their interest in English learning, creates a strong atmosphere for English learning, and further helps students to comprehensively improve their English application abilities.
