Eligibility for 2020 Applicants

1. Basic Requirements

1. Foreign citizens, no criminal record, aged 18 or above (by September 1, 2020), in good mental and physical health;

2. Good character, abide by Chinese laws and regulations, respect Chinese customs and abide by school rules and regulations;

3. Excellent scores, with good Chinese or English listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities;

4. Having relevant academic certificates.

2. Academic Requirement:

A certificate of graduation from high school or above;

3. Language Requirements:

1. Students applying for three-year Diploma Programs taught in Chinese shall provide the corresponding Chinese proficiency certificate: HSK Test Level 4 with a score of 180 or above;

2. Students applying for three-year Diploma Programs taught in English shall provide relevant English proficiency certificates: English proficiency certificate, English course transcripts; proof that English is the instruction language in high school;

3. No language requirements for students applying for one-year Chinese Language Program;

4. Financial Support

All applicants need to have financial support for study from family or other organizations;

5. Entrance Test or Interview

All applicants need to take a written test or an interview organized by JMI.
